Call for Artists. Members and non-members may submit two (2) entries each. Specific show requirements are contained within the Prospectus. Electronic registration until midnight, Sunday, Nov. 26 using the Online Entry Form. Afterwards, print and use the form contained with the Prospectus.
Drop off for the show is Tuesday, November 28th, 4:30-6:30pm. Payment is encouraged through the HAL website either PayPal or a credit card (PayPal and credit card administrative fees will be added to the cost) but not required.

The HAL Board invited members and friends to send photos of up to THREE paintings done during the 2023 Plein Air season.

July 27-30, 2023 was HAL's first exhibition in the beautiful setting of the Eli Whitney Barn. Over 60 local artists registered to show approximately 100 pieces of art, which included oils, acrylics, graphics, watercolors, pastels, collage, printmaking, fabric art, and 3D art. The public reception was July 29th and featured the music of Frank Lind. Frank Lind, is a solo singer acoustic guitar player from Hamden, playing locally and throughout Connecticut since 1991. On April 5th, HAL’s Spring (formerly Goldenbells) Art Exhibit opened at the Hamden Senior Center. Eighty (80) paintings will be displayed until May 2nd. Please click here for the catalog.
