2024 WINTER SHOW AWARD WINNERS
2024 Eli Whitney Barn Spring Show
May 30-June 2, 2024 was HAL's second exhibition in the beautiful setting of the Eli Whitney Barn. Over 75 local artists registered to show approximately 140 pieces of art, which included oils, acrylics, graphics, watercolors, pastels, collage, printmaking, fabric art, and 3D art. The public reception was June 1st and featured the music of Frank Lind, food and drink to enjoy, and announcement of award winners. This year the exhibition was judged for awards by Greg Shea. Since 1996, Greg has worked for the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven, CT, where he is the Senior Museum Preparator, and Mountmaker. A Special Student Exhibit was included this year for junior students from several local high schools. Three were awarded $100 prizes by our juror.

The HAL Board invited members and friends to send photos of up to THREE paintings done during the 2023 Plein Air season.
